Moderation
Use moderation in what you do for fat loss. I know of someone who read about a technique to lose weight that was to stop eating everything that is white in color, including white bread, so this person stopped eating bread for days, then fainted. Bread often has Niacin, which is a vitamin, and it seems Niacin is not easily found in other types of food. And it seems if you don’t get enough Niacin, which is very important, then you could faint. Be very careful.
Use moderation in all that you do. Don’t try to lose too much fat all in one day, or within a short period of time. Spread out your weight loss. From what I understand, aim to lose 1-2 pounds per week, is considered healthy.
Fasting
Try intermittent fasting. Fast certain days of the week, for example on Wednesday and Friday.

Watch your blood sugar, this is critical. Try to keep your blood sugar at a normal level.

For example, when you eat unnatural food like cookies and cake that are lacking in fiber, your blood sugar goes up. When blood sugar goes up, it tells your body “we have energy, start storing”, and your body basically starts to store what you eat as fat. You want to avoid that.
This happens because cookies and cake and similar unnatural foods are carbohydrates and stripped of fiber which balances blood sugar. If food is a carbohydrate and it doesn’t have fiber, and is high in sugar (like granulated table sugar), you’ll increase your blood sugar and put your body in “fat storing” mode. You wanna do the opposite and put body in “fat burning” mode.
Eat natural foods which are high in fiber, like apples, oranges, fruits, beans, peas, vegetables, etc. . You get the idea.
At meals, aim for half of your plate being high in fiber, for example, half of your plate is vegetables.
