It does not matter which type of engine you have, for example, a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with a 3.9L (3.9 liter) engine or a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with a 5.9L engine. It will fit both of those pickup trucks.

The original Dashboard is removed, and Replacement Dashboard is installed.
Aftermarket Replacement Dashboard. This is an aftermarket Dashboard, not an original OEM Dashboard, every little thing won’t be exactly as the original OEM Dashboard, but the Dashboard will work very good. Previous customers are happy.

Dashboard texture does not exactly match the OEM (original) dashboard.
Foam padding at perimeter of defrost air vents openings at bottom of dashboard. Foam padding shows at close-up picture of screw mount hole at bottom of dashboard.
Is recommended that dashboard is painted to match the interior color of truck. Painting it will decrease its reflection on the windshield, and you will have better protection against sun’s ultraviolet rays. Replacement dashboard is quite reflective, if you don’t paint it, on a day when sun is out, it will usually cause a glare on inside of windshield.
May need a little trimming.
Louvers are cut at an angle to direct the air to each side window.
Remove the original rubber seals at the a pillars on the original dashboard, and stick them on the new dashboard.
